I want to tell the world what chiropractic has done for me!

Approximately a month after the birth of our son, Jake, he developed colic. What was the most joyful time in our lives had turned very stressful. Not only were we adjusting to being first-time parents, but we felt powerless over the fact that our son was hurting. What a trying time! His doctor advised us to be patient and prescribed Zantac for stomach discomfort. I stopped breastfeeding, we changed his formula and tried many remedies to alleviate his discomfort. Nothing was helping him. Then a friend who had personal success with chiropractic care with her own children asked us to see Dr. Nancy. At our wits end, Joe and I thought, "what could it hurt?"

On July 5th, with cautious optimism, we had our first appointment to see Dr. Nancy. She examined Jake with gentle compassion and sure enough, she felt that she could help him. Family members and friends noticed that his temperament had changed slightly that weekend. Due to our fears, it took Joe and I longer to notice the changes. At about his fourth visit, Dr. Nancy discovered that Jake had TMJ. It made so much sense! He cried when he ate and even more afterward and had difficulty getting comfortable when sleeping. He actually smiled when she discovered the TMJ and adjusted his jaw. What a relief! At this time we also saw Susie for CranioSacral Therapy, which really added to his healing. We had two visits and she worked on compressions with his skull and sacrum. It was at this point that his colic behavior began to diminish and, over time, he continued to feel better. Jake continues to make great strides and we continue to bring him in for weekly visits. Five months old today, he is such a happy baby. We cannot thank Dr. Nancy and all of the staff enough. They are wonderful, caring people.

Due to Jake's positive progress, his father and I are now coming in for treatment. We have never felt better and are on the road to maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle!

Thanks to all at Trimboli Chiropractic!

Joe, Michelle and Jacob Stan
